TODDLER STORY TIME

 For 2 year-olds

  • Tuesdays beginning October 17 through December 5
  • Wednesdays beginning October 18 through December 6
  • Thursdays beginning October 19 through December 7

Join us for picture books, finger plays and playtime. 
Children must be two years of age by October 17, 2006.
PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
4 to 4:30 p.m.
 
For 3 to 5 year-olds

Origami specialist MaryAnn Scheblein-Dawson brings the exciting world of paperfolding to our library.  She has been paperfolding for more than 10 years and  will tell all about the people who developed origami and will teach several fun models for you to bring home.  Discover the fascinating creations that can be made from a single sheet of paper without glue or scissors.

Simple squares can be transformed into beautiful images and today you will be able to create your own mosaic image using glass gems.

Create your own mini wall fresco with egg tempera paints you make yourself (Allergy Alert!  Egg yolks are used for this).

When Monroe wanders into a seemingly abandoned factory, he accidentally trips a lever activating the "machinery"� (an assembly line of actors who create fabulous fables).  The factory owner, Mr. Aloysius A. Aesop, explains the factory has been idle for over 2,000 years due to a missing part.  Monroe surprises everyone by supplying the morals to the new fables created by the "Machinery"�.
